Giulio Nardella is an Associate Professor of Sustainability & Global Strategy at ESCP Business School, London and Local Academic Director of the Masters in Management programme.
Giulio gained his Ph.D from Warwick Business School, University of Warwick (UK) where he holds the position of Fellow. Prior to joining ESCP, Dr Nardella has held positions at Loughborough University School of Business & Economics (UK) and Henley Business School, University of Reading (UK) - where he was a member of the John H. Dunning Centre for International Business.
Giulio’s main research interests lie in the study of ‘corporate social irresponsibility’ (CSiR). As such, his research explores enduring regulatory, business, and societal challenges, such as; penalising and curbing irresponsible conduct, the ‘dark side’ of international business, unsustainable and/or hypocritical corporate behaviour, the strategic management of institutional complexity, as well as the use and abuse of tax havens.
Dr Nardella has won multiple awards for his research, including 'Best Paper Awards' from the Academy of Management and British Academy of Management. Giulio’s research has also been published in leading outlets, such as; Journal of World Business, British Journal of Management, International Journal of Management Reviews, and the Oxford Handbook of International Business Strategy (Oxford University Press). Recently, Dr Nardella was awarded with the annual British Journal of Management Best Reviewer Award and is an Editorial Board Member of the Journal of Business Research.
Giulio is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA) and teaches within a range of discipline areas, including; corporate social responsibility, sustainability, business ethics, international business, and strategic management on our undergraduate, postgraduate, and executive education programmes.
