Students, organised in teams supervised by professors, are assigned to a company’s challenge or real life marketing problem. Students need to analyse in-depth companies’ requirements and find solutions and propose actions plan that solve the company’s requirements.
Examples of Projects
Projects can cover a range of areas including marketing, consumer research, new product development, data analysis, optimisation, forecasting, and project management and decision analysis. Examples of project done in the past are: A data analysis to predict future commercial opportunities for a media planning agency. A Plan to target into new markets for international expansion for a fintech, a social media platform or a newly lunched product. Guidelines to design innovative point of sales activities for a FMCG company. A marketing plan for a B2B company in specialised consulting services. A marketing plan for a B2B company in big data analysis.
As an international business school, ESCP Madrid campus welcomes students from all over the world and invites them to get familiarised with our Spanish culture by learning Spanish before starting the MSc programme.
We believe that the more Spanish the students speak, the easier they will find it to integrate into Spanish society and the more they will get out of their stay in Madrid. So, unless the students are a native or advanced Spanish speaker, we strongly recommend that they take this opportunity to work on their Spanish before they start the Master programme.
Students do not need to speak Spanish to enrol in the MSc programme as all courses are offered in English. However, some knowledge of Spanish can be useful to enjoy the full ESCP learning experience, become professionally bicultural and optimise networking with Spanish and Latin America students and alumni. This is why ESCP Madrid campus offers a Spanish Immersion course which is included in the tuition fee.

“The international environment and business mindset experienced during my studies enabled me to successfully enter the startup ecosystem. Plus, beyond the academic excellence to master digital marketing as it was a new language, one of the current perks of doing the MDM at ESCP is to keep getting inspired by the stories and achievements of the friends and colleagues I met during this period.”
