Prof. Dr. Christoph Seckler is a Full Professor of Entrepreneurship at ESCP Business School in Berlin. He holds the Chair of Entrepreneurial Strategy, serves as the Academic Director of U-SCHOOL, and is a co-founder the Center for Design Science in Entrepreneurship. The German magazine Capital included him in its ‘Top 40 Under 40’ and its ‘Top 10 Upcoming Business Scholars.’ 

His research focuses on how to leverage adversity, exploring ways in which individuals, teams, and organizations can overcome challenges and benefit from them. His work on these topics has been published in leading international journals, including Accounting, Organizations and SocietyJournal of Management Studies, Academy of Management Discoveries, and Journal of Business Venturing Design. His research has also earned recognition, receiving three "Best Paper Awards" from the Academy of Management.

In his teaching, Christoph aims to empower people to make a meaningful difference. His goal is to help individuals develop in their "thinking," "doing," and "being." His teaching emphasizes action and interaction, fostering an engaging and dynamic classroom environment. Christoph's dedication to teaching excellence has been recognized with a "Best Teacher Award" from ESCP Business School.

Christoph is passionate about helping organizations develop a better error culture. A good error culture is central to fostering agility, innovation, and high performance in organizations. He frequently writes, speaks, and consults on this topic, with his work featured in prominent outlets such as the Financial TimesWorld Economic ForumFrankfurter Allgemeine ZeitungDIE ZEIT, and Harvard Business Manager. He co-published the Error Culture Report for Germany in cooperation with EY Germany.
