The ESCP Finance Society (EFS) organised a visit to Bloomberg’s office in London to see its industry-revolutionising Terminal and find out more about full-time and internship opportunities.
The objective of the event was to enhance students’ knowledge about Bloomberg’s offerings and provide a chance to engage with employees working within the development of the Bloomberg Terminal.
Situated in the heart of London, the Bloomberg building is a distinguished example of sustainability and innovation. The office visit started at the ‘grand cafeteria’ – a remarkable building allowing employees and clients to enjoy the magnificent architecture alongside the delicious cuisine on offer. The visit continued with a presentation of global Bloomberg offerings, an insight session on the Bloomberg Terminal, and a trading game. The event concluded with a visit to various offices on the Bloomberg site. ESCP students – speaking various languages including French, German, Italian and Chinese – had the opportunity to discover roles with specific language requirements. Students also met ESCP alumni working at Bloomberg, an exchange that was truly inspirational, and had the opportunity to visit the TV studio overlooking the striking St. Paul’s Cathedral.
For the office visit, twenty-four students from the Bachelor in Management (BSc), Master in Management and Specialised Masters across all campuses were selected to take part in the training sessions. The event was made possible thanks to the HR department at Bloomberg and its long-term relationship with ESCP Business School.

Onkar Kharadkar, EFS member and participant, shared: "The magnificent infrastructure and a welcoming culture at Bloomberg is the best ecosystem to learn where the market is moving! I am grateful to Bloomberg for this experience."
