Because innovation does not wait

The DAHER Group has entrusted ESCP with an ambitious programme starting in Jan 2016 to enable its managers to have an ever more innovative and forward-looking view of their activity and profession.
This training underlines DAHER’s strong desire to drive all dimensions of the the entire group’s innovation culture which is anchored in an entrepreneurial family history. The aim is to make DAHER "best in class for innovation": a desire supported and led cross-functionally by the all the Group's executives.

  • Lead and manage change through an Open Innovation culture

Patrick DAHER, CEO, DAHER GroupMaintaining operational excellence today is no longer sufficient for good leadership.

“ It is by innovating that we can be the strongest on the market. Finding shortcuts, increasing agility, facing unstructured approaches, fearing neither innovation nor destruction: the industrial approach is fully prepared to live with the spirit of the start-up entrepreneur… .the proof is our Daher Innovation Factory.
For me, the freedom to create is precious. It is this taste for freedom that I would like to instill and reinforce through this particular training programme, so that everyone can have dreams in this business, but not the same dreams as me, but my teams’ own dreams.”

The Academic Director’s point of view

This training proposes in-depth work on the reflexes and postures of executives so as to drive “intrapreneurial” innovation and a culture of change.

The programme applies recognised theoretical approaches, such as effectual reasoning, by putting them into practice through tools such as the scrum method, design-thinking, diversion and rapid prototyping.
The participants are thus led to explore and experiment with different tools for themselves to become intrapreneurs in their daily lives, to improve agility and rapidly prototype innovative solutions using their own means. After this challenging and thought-provoking programme, participants surprise themselves by pitching particularly successful projects thanks to rapid prototyping linked to a customised business model that they can test and question in front of their peers.
As Academic Director of the programme, I am delighted to work with a company like Daher, with its strong family and business values, and to support it in the fascinating context of the third industrial revolution.
