The 4th edition of the Option E Impact Entrepreneurship MIM specialisation wrapped up with a final event at the Turin Campus.

From AgriTech to responsible tourism, from digital grocery management to art learning and leisure: the next generation of Impact Entrepreneurs Choose to act!

The 4th edition of the Option E Impact Entrepreneurship MIM specialisation culminated in a dynamic closing event at the Turin Campus. Since January, Option-E students have been on an immersive journey to become the new wave of entrepreneurs, equipped to create businesses with economic, social, and environmental impact.

Alisa Sydow, Professor of Entrepreneurship & Innovation and Academic Director of Impact Entrepreneurship MIM Specialisation, hosted the event.
Through compelling pitches and insightful Q&A sessions, Option E students demonstrated their determination to change the world through entrepreneurship. An expert panel of judges assessed the projects: Pietro Valfrè, from Feat. Ventures, Chiara Capotondi, from OGR Tech, Vincenzo Macrì, from The Hundred, Sheila Simon, from Techstars Turin.
Prof. Chiara Succi, local Academic Director of the Master in Management, announced the winning teams:

  • DADA, made up of Margaux Watissée, Calliste de Vauplane, Etienne Genuyt and Julian Castell, took first place with their ingenious project that uses gamification and micro-learning to promote art education.
  • MealMate, made up of Stefano Bonazzi, Luca Tissone, Shaunak Sawant and Pauline Lauzeral, won the People's Choice Award for their personalised meal planning and food management platform.

"I am absolutely thrilled to see the growth and commitment of our students in the 4th edition of Option E in Impact Entrepreneurship! Each year, the quality of the pitches and the passion shown is truly commendable. It's clear that we are shaping the next generation of exceptional entrepreneurs. I am so proud of everyone involved and to see the impact we are having as ESCP!" - said Prof Alisa Sydow.

DADA aims to revolutionise art education through an engaging app using micro-learning, repetition, gamification and blended learning strategies. Meanwhile, MealMate offers personalised meal plans and recipes tailored to customers' preferences and budgets, as well as convenient grocery shopping solutions.

Congratulations to all the students for their remarkable achievements, which embody the spirit of entrepreneurship and social impact. ESCP Business School looks forward to witnessing the continued success and positive change sparked by these visionary entrepreneurs.
